Documents Needed for Brand Owner and Manufacturer Review

To protect our customers, retailers, distributors, and business partners, Ally Burma works only with direct brand owners and direct manufacturers who can demonstrate professionalism, product readiness, proper documentation, and legal authority to sell or export their products.


Before Ally Burma can review a product for potential market entry, preferred partners should be able to provide the documents and information listed below.


These documents help us evaluate product quality, brand ownership, manufacturing source, packaging readiness, import requirements, labeling requirements, food safety expectations, and market suitability.

1. Brand Owner Company Profile

  • Brand owner company profile
  • Business registration documents
  • Company address and contact information
  • Owner or authorized representative information
  • Brand name and brand history
  • Product catalog
  • Current markets where the brand is sold
  • Export experience, if available
  • Trademark registration, if available
  • Product photos and packaging photos
  • Brand website and social media links, if available


2. Manufacturing Facility Documents

  • Manufacturing facility name
  • Manufacturing facility address
  • Facility contact person
  • Food production license
  • Local FDA license
  • U.S. FDA food facility registration
  • Facility audit reports
  • GMP certificate
  • HACCP certificate
  • ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, BRCGS, or other food safety certificates
  • Sanitation and quality control information
  • Allergen control procedures, if applicable


3. Product Information

For each product, the Brand Owner should provide:

  • Product name
  • Product description
  • Product category
  • Product photos
  • Packaging photos
  • Packaging samples, if available
  • Net weight
  • Serving size
  • Storage instructions
  • Cooking or preparation instructions
  • Shelf-life information
  • Expiration date format
  • Lot code or batch code format
  • Country of origin
  • Pricing

4. Ingredient and Labeling Information

  • Full ingredient list
  • Ingredient breakdown by weight order
  • Allergen information
  • Nutrition information
  • Nutrition Facts panel
  • English label translation
  • Current product label artwork
  • Country of origin statement


5. Food Safety and Product Quality Documents

Ally Burma may request food safety and quality documents depending on the product type.


  • Certificate of Analysis, if available
  • Microbiological testing results
  • Heavy metals testing, if applicable
  • pH testing, if applicable
  • Water activity testing, if applicable
  • Shelf-life study or shelf-life validation
  • Product specification sheet
  • Raw material specification sheets, if available
  • Packaging material specification, if available
  • Quality control procedures
  • Recall or traceability procedure, if available


6. Export and Shipping Documents

  • Commercial invoice
  • Packing list
  • Bill of lading or airway bill
  • Certificate of origin
  • Health certificate, if applicable
  • Phytosanitary certificate, if applicable
  • Export permit, if required
  • Product HS / HTS code, if available
  • Shipping carton details
  • Pallet details

Additional documents may be required depending on product type, country of export, shipping method, and destination country.


7. U.S. Import Review Documents

For products entering the United States, Ally Burma may request documents and information needed for FDA and customs review, including:


  • U.S. FDA food facility registration information
  • U.S. FDA prior notice information
  • Manufacturer name and address
  • Product description
  • Ingredient list
  • Allergen declaration
  • Label artwork
  • Country of origin
  • FSVP-related supplier documents
  • Certificate of Analysis, if available
  • Customs classification information, if available

The U.S. importer is responsible for ensuring imported food meets applicable U.S. requirements.


8. Product Samples

Before making a partnership decision, Ally Burma will request product samples for review.

Samples may be reviewed for:

  • Taste

  • Packaging condition
  • Label presentation
  • Shelf stability
  • Market potential
  • Retail suitability
  • Consumer appeal
